I feel icky, and I don't have any sick leave left so I'm just going to have to work through it. It's not too bad. I had a sore throat (and that was my only symptom) for two days, and now as that is going away...sniffles! My sinuses are running like a faucet and now I'm coughing too. I decided to start jogging yesterday. Well, not yesterday, but it's when I started. I did my research and made note of all the safety precautions and whatnot. I did my warm-ups at the beginning and end of the jog, I mixed walking with running. I ONLY DID IT FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES. And I'm still sore. Sheezy, I am out of shape.

I think I've mentioned before that I've had a headache for quite a long time now. Well, yesterday I finally gave in and went to the clinic to try and see the doctor. The "heat dome" has finally gotten to me. I've been feeling icky for days. Nausea, lightheadness, hot flashes, the whole bit. They've sent me home from work three days now. I'm almost back to 100% after my fall. I still have a vicious bruise on my elbow and can't really put pressure on it, but that's expected. I can bend it and the like and lift things, just can't touch the dang thing. Also, my back is mostly fine now. ...in that I have medical insurance, yet I find it more a pain to deal with it than when I had none. When I didn't have any, I could just go to the clinic, pay the co-pay, and they took care of everything else.
